INÉÉI-PSH and RIPPH joined forces for the 6th edition of Days for Peace, with an incredible virtual event on September 30. Under the theme “Building Solidarity for Safe, Equal and Inclusive Communities”, the event was the starting point for a powerful social campaign: “Let's take action against gender-based violence against women and girls with disabilities: Raising awareness for better prevention”.
Powerful voices were raised, poignant testimonials were shared, and innovative solutions were proposed to create safer, more equitable communities for all. Thanks to the generous support of the Foundation of Greater Montreal, the Equality Fund, and Community Foundations of Canada, as well as the office of Laurier Dorion MP Andrés Fontecilla (QS), the event was a resounding success.
But this is just the beginning. The fight against gender-based violence doesn't stop here. This campaign will continue to raise awareness, prevent and support, thanks to the ongoing commitment of our partners and collaborators, such as SPECTRUM PRODUCTIONS and FLUX MTL. Join us in this noble cause and become a strong link in a chain of solidarity for inclusive and safe communities for all.
